I used the website mixbook and am thrilled with how it turned out. I chose to do a blank canvas so that I could completely customize her book. They have so many choices it was awesome!! I chose vibrant, rich colors that remind me of her homeland :)

If you have a special occasion that you want to be remembered in a book format, I suggest you check them out! I know shutterfly has them as well but the artistic side of me was more impressed with what mixbook had to offer.
Now if only my Article 5 would come this week!!!

ReplyDeleteLOVE it!!!! We did the same thing and it really did help with Charu's transition to our family! She knew who we were and what our home looked like! We were able to bring the book home with us and she loves to "read" the book even now!!! She's going to love it!!!

ReplyDeleteHi Kristen, I was given your blog by No Greater Love. It is very interesting that we are both single teachers, with part of our hearts in India. I am just beginning the process and am having a very hard time coming up with the large initial payment that is due. Your blog is an inspiration to me. Some people think I am crazy, being a single teacher and adopting a baby. I am sure that you understand that once God pricks your heart toward adoption, it is impossible not to follow his path.
