SHS photography

I really enjoyed this week's scavenger hunt as it was a nice distraction from waiting for a court date :)

Here are my interpretations:

Orange

Faceless portrait (selfie)- I cheated a bit on this since I actually took it at the end of summer but this is a defining, faceless, portrait of the essence of me.  When I was little, I used to lie on the hot cement because I loved the feeling of the warmth from the ground and the sun above:)

View from the top- my inner child took over for this shot!

Cozy- see that spot, right between his eyes?  I LOVE to kiss that spot and when I do, I feel all warm and fuzzy inside because everything is right with the world.  I'm obsessed with him if you couldn't tell:)

Stacked

I really had fun with this and I'm looking forward to next week's hunt!

  1. LOVE them....I totally used to lie on the cement, too. I would love the feeling in my stomach of being so hot....I never get that feeling anymore, now that I'm older. :) What's up with that? And stacked is AWESOME. And I am obsessed with Simon....I can't even imagine what it would be like to live with him.....

Love, love, love all of them..... You are awesome. :)

  2. Very nice! Love your portrait shot by the water, I feel warm just looking at it. The hint of sunshine rays poking through... nice! Also really like your "from the top", although it looks like you got a wet bum going down! :) Like "stacked", too.

  5. Nice photos. Do you mind sharing what this is that you're participating in? I'd love to maybe join in. I bought a big girl camera in February and am starting my first photography class tomorrow night. This looks like fun...and also a good distraction from the waiting.

  6. Good job with this week's words; personally hate it when I see the orange barrels - seems to be all the time on the local portion of the interstate (yuck!).

  11. Nice job. I like your Faceless portrait a lot and also the View from the Top shot.
Barkely is adorable and I was happy to read above that he now has a forever home!

Missed commenting from last week and since you didn't do the hunt this week I'll catch up on this set. Sorry you weren't feeling the prompt love this week. I hoped that the prompts I picked weren't to challenging.
